Cucumber, chopped and peeled
2 handfuls cashew nuts
3 carrots, peeled
1 apple, quartered and core removed
½ handful sunflower seeds
1 cup apple or pear juice
3 tbsp yogurt
½ teaspoon salt

Second Smoothie (Very Berry)
½ cup blueberries
½ cup strawberries
½ cup raspberries
1 small carrot
1 cup 2% milk
1 cup apple juice (unsweetened)
2 cups crushed ice

Third Smoothie (Tantalizing Tomato)
2 cups tomatoes, chopped
1 celery stalk
½ cup carrots
¼ cup apple juice
½ cup tomato juice
3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
Hot sauce or Tabasco to taste
2 basil leaves
Freshly ground black pepper and sea salt to taste
2 cups crushed ice

Avoid Food Combinations That Cause Gases

Avoid food combination that can cause gas. But what are these food combinations that cause bloating? Schnitzel is delicious, but making it includes combining two of the most gas-producing foods; schnitzel is deep fried and breaded. The wheat found in bread has white flour which is highly refined and raffinose, a complex sugar.

Both refined flour and raffinose tops the list of food causing flatulence. Aside from these ingredients, fried foods, whether they are pan or deep fried also cause gassy stomach. Spices like coriander, chili and ginger are said to help digestion. However, there are people who say that these spicy foods cause flatulence.

You must remember though, that these spices are added to foods using coconut milk. Fat from coconut milk affects digestion, so the spices do not really cause flatulence and gassy stomach.
