  1. Users should be aware that \”percent body fat\” is more accurate and useful than BMI, and can not be accurately determined from BMI.

  2. The imperial formula is still wrong. I am 6\’0\” and I put in 6.0 and 151 lbs –> my bmi is 20.5 and it\’s telling me 17.4.

    How many people have been adversely affected by this??

  3. The BMI calculator is little misleading if one didn’t read the details. Perhaps you should show the input as ” ft.ins ” instead of just inches alone. The first time I converted the total to inches and the value was erroneous.

  4. WEBSITE ERROR IN FORMULA
    Imperial data input screen currently (March 31, 2014) asks for

    Your height: in inches. Example 6.1.

    but calculates based on feet, giving inaccurate low result.

    Imperial users expect to enter [feet], [inches], as
    “I am [6] foot [1.5] inches tall.”
    which translates to “I am 73.5 inches tall.”

    • We are sorry for any inconvenience. Please use only 2 digits when inputting height. For example if your height is 6 foot and 1.5 inches please input your height as 6 foot 2 inches. Calculation will still be 99% accurate.
